Who is Enviroview
James Davis
James has extensive experience in the management of contaminated sites from working both within industry and in consulting, providing specific technical input to significant projects for nearly 30 years. He is accredited by the NSW EPA as a Site Auditor (Contaminated Land) and has been conducting Site Audits since 2003, is admitted as a Lawyer to the NSW Supreme Court and is an Accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation Scheme.
He has been involved with numerous large decommissioning, demolition, and remediation projects across a wide range of former and operating industrial sites. Some of these have included the most significant urban renewal projects to be completed in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and New Zealand. He has established his expertise in site investigation, risk assessment, remediation, management and treatment of soils, groundwater and sediments impacted with a wide range of contaminants including agrichemicals, petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metals, solvents, and asbestos.
As a NSW EPA Auditor, James has been responsible for the independent review of over 300 contaminated land investigation and remediation projects involving a range of contamination issues. James brings to the Site Audits a depth of technical expertise and an understanding of project requirements, such as the timely and consistent review of project consultant’s work with most of his audits relating to redevelopment and urban renewal of former industrial land.
He brings a unique set of skills from his diverse background in agricutural science, plant ecology, environmental conservation, business, law and dispute resolution. Not only well-versed technically, he understands commercial prioities and legal nuances of his field of expertise.
James is hard working, driven to find the optimum outcome for any problem presented, and stands by his reputation as being highly competent, thorough, reliable, responsive, honest and pragmatic - simply he is passionate to do the best job he can!
